Question Category : Milestones
I have a two-month-old grand daughter who doesn't seem to be able to focus on objects or persons. I seem to remember that my babies would look at the source of sounds at that age, but maybe my memory is inaccurate. This child's eyes are wandering around all the time, and while I held her she did not once look directly at me. Is this normal?
Question Category : Milestones
My child is now 20 months old and does not speak a word. But he does understand and point when asked where mama or daddy is. But he does not respond when called, though sometimes he does. But it seems that certain days he is hearing well and then he doesn't seem to hear at all. He is otherwise an intelligent child. The only other thing is that his motor movements are late in their coordination. He could hold his neck at 6 months of age, sit at 10 and walk at 1 1/2yrs. But the stability comes slowly and gradually. I am hoping that maybe with time his hearing may improve like his history suggests. What are your comments. I am eagerly awaiting some good news from you. We also live in an area when tests and all are not available
